The land of three hearts

Home

DEAR GUESTS, VISITORS, AND TRAVELLERS,

Welcome to our beautiful natural environment at the entrance gate to the Jeseníky Mountains in the Region of Three Hearts. We offer you this selection of the very best from our region, places where clean and pure forests and the foothills of the Jeseníky Mountains begin to rise. Your travels have brought you to the very threshold of heretofore little-known parts of the Nízký Jeseník Mountains. We would like to show you that we have a lot to offer.

The nearby Sovinec domain with majestic Sovinec Castle will provide you with an excellent glimpse into the history of our region while also offering numerous events throughout the entire year - folk markets, carriage rides along field and forest trails, the woodcarving workshop of master Halouzka, and a nativity scene with 80 life-size figures, including the largest wooden sculpture of Mt. Praděd. In terms of learning about history you have a lot to look forward to. In the surrounding areas you can also visit Šternberk Castle or famous fairytale Bouzov Castle.

In addition to countless historical experiences we also invite you to sporting activities directly in Paseka. At your disposal are tennis courts with artificial surfaces and lighting, an attractive swimming pool surrounded by a forest, a weight training centre, and a horse farm offering horseback rides and show jumping. In the nearby forests you can hunt for mushrooms, and in the local ponds you can try your luck at fishing. Bike trails will take you, for example, to the Litovelské Pomoraví natural reservation or Praděd Gardens. For winter sports enthusiasts we have a ski lift with lighting for night-time skiing.

You will find extraordinary climatic conditions in our town, and it wasn’t by chance that a lung sanatorium was established here in 1915.

So come and relax. There is no need for additional words – we can offer you peace, tranquillity, and beauty.
