TENNIS COURTS WITH AN ARTIFICIAL SURFACE
Two tennis courts with an artificial surface were built in Paseka in 1999 to serveforanum berof sporting activities. Volleyball and football-tennis can also be played on this special surface. In September 2000 a tennis training wall and street ball basket were added to the courts. The area is equipped with lights.
Open: year-round from 7am to 10pm.
CLASSIC FOOTBALL PITCH
Football facilities in Paseka are without question of a very high standard. The Paseka Sokol Sports Club in the building on the football grounds has locker rooms for players and referees, an announcer’s booth, restrooms, refreshments, and a conference room. The pitch has standard dimensions of 55 x 110 m. A training pitch is located perpendicular to the south side of the main pitch. The football grounds include three stands for spectators and numerous benches. The spectator seating capacity is approximately 200. In 2006 the grass surface of the pitch was completely reconstructed.
CLAY OVAL TRACK WITH MINI-FOOTBALL PITCH
The small oval clay track is located near the elementary school and was built mainly for the needs of the elementary school and kindergarten. The centre of the track is grass and can serve, for example, as a mini-football pitch. The grounds include a sand landing pit, a jungle gym, and climbing poles. The equipment is available free of charge. Open: free, at all times.
SWIMMING POOL
The Paseka swimming pool is regarded as one of the most pleasant and beautiful recreational areas in the region. Over the past fiveyearsithasundergonesubstantialchanges.Thepoolhasbeenreconstructedandthefacilityincludes refreshments, restrooms, a beach volleyball court, giant chess, tennis courts, and other features. In 2006 study was prepared for the complete reconstruction of the facility to be implemented in the near future. Thanks to the fact that the swimming pool is situated in the environment of a nearby forest it offers a pleasant and serene location for rest and relaxation. There are three pools available for swimmers: from a wading pool for the youngest visitors to a “training pool” with a four-metre slide for beginning swimmers, up to a large pool with a diving board and water depths from 1.7 m to 3.8 m.

KARLOV SKI LIFT
In the winter ski enthusiasts will be delighted with the ski lift and artificiallightingattheskicentrelocatedinthePaseka-Karlovsectionoftown. Theslopeis groomed daily. The centre also offers a ski school (more information at www.envy-ski.cz).
Operating hours: November - March, 9am – into the evening hours depending on attendance.
HORSES - KARLOV
You are cordially invited to visit the EN VOUGUE Stables in Karlov u Paseky, where you can learn to ride horses or set off on a horseback ride into the beautiful natural environment of the surrounding forests.
Also available are protective helmets, a sand riding ground, and refreshments in the club pub.
ASPHALT MULTI-PURPOSE SURFACE
An asphalt multi-purpose surface located in the Paseka-Sanatorium section of town can be used for football-tennis, volleyball, and tennis, and other activities. Open: free, at all times.
WEIGHT TRAINING CENTRE
The civic group “Sports for All” in Paseka offers a weight training centre with a number of machines for stretching, training, and physical conditioning. Open by agreement.
